This Pole decided to take a trip across Russia with a selfie stick and here's what happened

Michał Pater, a traveler from Poland, hitchhiked all the way from Wroclaw to the Russian Far East, filming his entire journey with a selfie stick. It took him three months (and, seemingly, countless gallons of alcohol) to travel 27,000 kilometers (almost 17,000 miles) across the country and back.

The result is an eye-opening 7-minute video, where Michał interacts with Russians of all walks of life—and the natives seem happy indeed to include the Pole in their drinking adventures. There were less fortunate incidents, too, where people took Michał for a “NATO spy” and a “Ukrainian fascist,” even chasing him with a knife.

The video, titled “Hitchhiking to the World's End” appears to be a trailer, with more footage to come.

Most of the interactions are in (broken) Russian, and Michał provided subtitles in Polish, but we feel the video speaks for itself and hardly requires a translation into English. We must warn you however, that Michał's exchanges with the locals contain an extraordinary amount of profanity.
