The former advisers told journalists that Gabbard’s “unorthodox media consumption habits” — not “some covert intelligence recruitment as far as they know” — are the most likely reason for her controversial views on the Ukraine war, which some critics say suggests that the politician and former U.S. Army officer could be “a Russian asset.”
