‘The missiles will speak for themselves’: Zelensky on Biden’s approval of long-range missile strikes in Russia

In his daily video address on Sunday evening, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky commented on the news that the U.S., the U.K.. and France had authorized Kyiv to use long-range American ATACMS and British-French Storm Shadow/SCALP cruise missiles to strike targets in Russia.

“The plan to strengthen Ukraine is the victory plan that I presented to our partners. One of the main points is long-range capabilities for our army. Today, the media is speaking a lot about us receiving permission for these actions. But strikes aren’t carried out with words. Such things aren’t announced. The missiles will speak for themselves,” Zelensky said.
