Trump says he asked Biden for thoughts on Ukraine during Oval Office meeting. ‘He was very gracious.’

President-elect Donald Trump told The New York Post that he and President Biden discussed Ukraine and the Middle East during their Oval Office meeting on Wednesday. “I asked for his views, and he gave them to me,” Trump told The Post.

During their televised debate in June, Trump suggested Russia never would have attacked Ukraine if he had been in office. In response, Biden accused Trump of “wanting to pull out of NATO” and jeopardizing the international alliances needed to support Ukraine against Russia’s invasion.
