Child reportedly injured by falling debris after Russian air defenses down eight drones in Voronezh region
Russian air defense forces shot down eight Ukrainian drones over the Voronezh region on Monday night, Russia’s Defense Ministry has reported.
According to Voronezh Governor Alexander Gusev, debris from one of the downed aircraft landed on an apartment building and injured a child. “A girl who was born in 2013 sustained cut wounds on her arms, legs, and neck. She received medical treatment at the scene,” he wrote on Telegram.
Other houses and apartment buildings in the region had their windows broken as a result of the attacks, while a balcony attached to one building briefly caught on fire, the governor said.
The Russian Defense Ministry also reported that four drones were shot down in the Belgorod region.
