Electrical substation near Moscow catches fire, locals report explosion, speculate drone attack

A fire broke out at an electrical substation near Moscow early November 23, leaving several settlements, including part of Lytkarino, a town outside the city, without power. According to local news site msk1.ru, Lytkarino residents saw a bright flash and speculated that the substation might have been attacked by a drone.

Several hours after the emergency shutdown, the power in Lytkarino was restored. However, some in nearby districts remained without electricity.
