Seven people who participated in anti-Semitic riot at airport in Dagestan jailed for disorderly conduct

A court in Dagestan has given administrative punishments to five people who participated in an anti-Semitic riot at Makhachkala airport, reports Russian state news agency TASS, referencing the republic’s Supreme Court.

All five were arrested for disorderly conduct. One of the men is to be jailed for 10 days, while the other four will be jailed for six days each.

News outlet RBC reported that seven people were arrested. According to them, two others were also arrested for disorderly conduct. They are both set to be jailed for three days.

The Russian Interior Ministry’s directorate for the North Caucasus Federal District said that 83 people were detained for taking part in the riots.
