Police detain rioters who stormed airport tarmac in Dagestan, Russia

Law enforcement officers have begun to detain people at Makhachkala airport, reports Echo Dagestan.
A video taken by a passenger on one of the planes at the airport shows several rioters lying on the tarmac near a Red Wings plane that arrived from Tel Aviv, with police officers walking around them.
Russia’s Federal Air Transport Agency has officially reported that as of 8:20 p.m. Moscow time, the airport has been “cleared of unauthorized citizens.” It is not specified whether anyone inside the airport building was detained.
Russia’s Federal Air Transport Agency also stated that the airport will be closed until 3 a.m. on November 6.
