Two police officers injured in shooting at patrol post between Ingushetia and North Ossetia
Two police officers were injured in a shooting at a patrol post between Ingushetia and North Ossetia, the North Ossetian Investigative Committee reported on Tuesday.
According to local authorities, around midnight on Monday night, the assailant or assailants used an automatic weapon to shell the station, which is located near the Ingushetian village of Kantyshevo.
The injured officers have reportedly been hospitalized with injuries of varying degrees of severity, and authorities are still searching for the perpetrators. According to the Telegram channel 112, after the officers returned fire, multiple assailants escaped on foot.
