Five people were injured in a missile strike on central Kharkiv on the morning of February 5.

The city’s mayor, Ihor Terekhov, says two S-300 missiles struck Kharkiv’s Kyivsky district. One destroyed the upper stories of the main building of the Kharkiv National University of Urban Economy, injuring a security guard.

A second missile hit a nearby four-story residential building. The missile struck the building’s foundation, but the mayor says there is no threat of it collapsing. The strike shattered neighboring buildings’ windows.

Terekhov added that there is no military presence in that district.

Meduza cannot immediately verify these statements.
