Ukraine shoots down all 24 drones launched by Russia in overnight attack

Russian troops attacked Ukraine with 24 Iranian-made Shahed drones on Wednesday night, Ukraine’s Air Force reported. According to officials, all of the drones were shot down by Ukrainian forces.

On Wednesday evening, air raid sirens went off in multiple regions of Ukraine. According to Ukrainian media, many of the drones were shot down in the Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk regions. An air defense system was also reportedly activated in the Kyiv region.

Early Thursday morning, Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council head Mykola Lukashuk reported that an industrial facility in the region had been hit, and that there were no casualties.
