Russian General Staff Chief says Russia has struck more than 1,300 critical facilities in Ukraine

Source: Interfax

Valery Gerasimov, Chief of the Russian Army’s General Staff, said Thursday that the Russian army has struck more than 1,300 critical facilities in Ukraine during the course of its “special military operation” (Kremlin parlance for the war) so far.

“This has allowed us to substantially reduce the combat potential of Ukraine’s armed forces, disrupt the command system, paralyze the work of its military industrial complex, and significantly hamper its military transport,” Interfax quoted him as saying.

According to Gerasimov, the Russian military “will continue to conduct its special military operation to achieve all objectives set by the Supreme Commander-in-Chief as planned,” even “despite the massive military and financial assistance provided by the West to the Kyiv regime.”
