On Wednesday night, burglars broke into Russian businessman Oleg Tinkov’s villa in the Tuscan town of Forte dei Marmi, according to Italian news outlet Adnkronos. Tinkov and his family were in Mexico at the time.

The thieves reportedly worked “professionally,” evading a complex security system and opening two safes to steal jewels, expensive watches, and other valuables that may have exceeded hundreds of thousands of euros in value.

Italian police are investigating the incident.
