After the Russian invasion of Ukraine, writer Dmitry Glukhovsky consistently spoke out against the war. In June, he was placed on a federal wanted list in a criminal case concerning “fake news” about the Russian army.
The rapper Oxxxymiron canceled his Russian appearances after the war began, left the country, and gave several concerts to benefit Ukrainian refugees. He returned to Russia in September.
