More than 700 people arrested in anti-war actions

More than 700 people have been arrested in cities across Russia during protests against the war in Ukraine and the Russian mobilization, reports independent media project OVD Info.

As of 9:06pm Moscow time the project knew of 707 arrests in 32 cities. Most of those arrested were in Moscow (over 300 people), St. Petersburg (over 100), and Novosibirsk (around 70).

In the capital there have been arrests in the metro and at the end of the protest route. Police arrested young people in groups of 5-10.

In Moscow, police arrested a young woman (in the first video) and put her in a van from which screams were heard. They then directed members of the media to step aside and closed the door.
