Zelensky's motorcade involved in accident in Kyiv

The Ukrainian president's motorcade was involved in an accident in Kyiv on the night of September 15, 2022.

Serhii Nykyforov, the presidential press secretary, wrote on Facebook that a car collided with president Zelensky's car and his escorts.

"The president was examined by a doctor, no serious injuries were found," he said.

The medics who were accompanying the Ukrainian leader provided first aid to the driver before handing him over to ambulance staff.

Law enforcement is investigating the circumstances of the accident.

Ukrainian media published a video from the scene of the accident, which allegedly took place on Victory Square.

Earlier, on September 14, 2022, Volodymyr Zelensky visited the liberated city of Izyum with Andriy Yermak.
