Star on Voronezh spire has SpongeBob's Patrick painted on it

In Voronezh, a star on the spire of the building in the center of the city was turned into Patrick from the animated series SpongeBob SquarePants. The spire was atop a residential house that once housed a unit of the Soviet army.
Patrick the Starfish was one of the main characters of the series, as well as the neighbor and best friend of SpongeBob.
On the evening of November 9, it became known on the program Temnaya Storona Voronezha that someone had repainted the star on October 25. Local free climbers said they were not involved and offered to help with the restoration of the star.
Voronezh police have opened an investigation based on a claim of hooliganism. The maximum penalty for this offense is up to 15 days in prison.
