Julia Kuklina, representative of Mixed Martial Arts Union head Fedor Emelianenko, has confirmed that the athlete's daughter was attacked in Moscow. According to Kuklina, Emelianenko's daughter is now recovering.

An investigation is ongoing. Emelianenko will not comment on the situation, his representative said.

Julia Kuklina was the first to confirm that Fedor Emelianenko's daughter had been attacked. Prior to this, even the police announced only that a minor has been attacked in the center of Moscow. Putin's spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said that Putin was informed of the incident following reports from the media.

It became known on Tuesday that sixteen-year-old Maria Emelianenko had been attacked. A man hit her in the chest in the center of Moscow. Nothing has been reported about the suspects.

The attack occurred shortly after Fedor Emelianenko engaged in a public debate with Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov and his entourage.

Unofficially, police have said that the attack was not related to the conflict.

The conflict between the Kadyrov and Emelianenko arose when the latter criticized a mixed martial arts tournament for children that took place in Grozny, Chechnya on Tuesday. Emelianenko was angered by the fact that children were fighting without protective equipment. As a result, many of Kadyrov's supporters, including Chechen athletes and Duma deputy Adam Delimkhanov, sharply criticized Emelianenko, some even calling him a "rooster" and a "jester".
