The Russian television network Rossiya 1 has announced an upcoming show modeled on the US hit “The Apprentice.” The Russian version will star Chechen ruler Ramzan Kadyrov, and contestants will vie for a spot in his government.

“Participants will be able to test themselves and show what they can do in the most beautiful corners of Chechnya: they'll climb mountains, descend into lakes, walk through the forests, and fully appreciate the hospitality and traditions of Chechnya,” says an official announcement published on Rossiya 1's website. Kadyrov's team of assistants will also be presented with various challenges and obstacles.

Rossiya 1 says it's now accepting applications to compete on the show from both men and women “of any age or social status.” The show's winner will get a permanent job in Kadyrov's government, and the chance to head Chechnya's “Strategic Development Agency.”
