The Russian language edition of Forbes magazine has published its first “Richest Heirs of Russian Billionaires List.”

The new ranking features 47 heirs from 20 billionaire families, where each well heeled descendent listed must have at least $1.82 billion in assets.

The list is topped by Lukoil CEO Vagit Alekperov's son, Yusuf, with $8.9 billion. Second place goes to 4-year-old Tara Melnichenko, daughter to EuroChem owner Andrei Melnichenko, at $8.2 billion. In third are the two children of Novatek and Sibur co-owner Leonid Michelson, who have received $7.2 billion each.

One high profile family that did not make the list were the Abramovichs. Each of investor Roman Abramovich's seven children have $1.1 billion, so they did not make the magazine's entrance requirement of a $1.82 billion endowment.

Forbes magazine is famous for its annual rankings of the world's wealthiest people.
