Head of company contracted for construction of Vostochny Cosmodrome sent to jail for three years

Sergei Yudin, the former chairman of the board at the Pacific Bridge-Building Company that was contracted to build Russia's new Vostochny Cosmodrome, was sentenced to 3 years and 4 months in jail for his complicity in fraud.
The court also ordered the former chairman to pay a 1 million ruble ($15,300) fine.
Investigators found the company's chairman, Sergei Yudin, and CEO, Igor Nesterenko, guilty of attempting to steal 104 million rubles ($2.14 million) by funnelling funds through bank accounts belonging to various affiliate companies.
Igor Nesterenko was sentenced to 3 years and 3 months at a correctional facility in late April.
