What Putin officially owns and earns: The President's paycheck grows by more than 1M rubles for 2015

In 2015, Vladimir Putin earned 8,891,777 rubles (about $133,700). This is 1.2 million rubles more than Putin earned in 2014.

The Russian President's earnings were published today on the Kremlin's website.

The official list of properties belonging to President Putin has not changed over the past year: an 828 sq. ft. apartment, a 16,145 sq. ft. piece of land, and a garage. An additional job perk as Russian President is access to a 1,654 sq. ft. government apartment, also with a garage. Putin also has three cars and a trailer registered in his name.

Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev got a raise of 700,000 rubles for 2015. His salary now sits at 8,767,882 rubles (about $132,000). Medvedev has also not been flipping any real estate. He officially owns the same old 3,950 sq. ft. apartment. Medvedev's wife, official records show, made no income for 2015.
