Moscow police have begun investigating a small riot at a local juvenile correctional facility, where teenagers earlier this week ransacked the place in a protest demanding mobile phones and cigarettes. According to reports, the inmates set fires, destroyed property, and threw objects out second-story windows.

It’s estimated that the riot caused 930,000 rubles ($12,300) in damages.
