Russia's prime minister used his iPad to access a banned torrent website during an official meeting

Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev doesn't think much of Russia's “lifetime ban” on the file-sharing website RuTracker, which has been outlawed in perpetuity by a court for repeated acts of digital piracy. At a session of a government council on the film industry, Medvedev was able to use his personal iPad to reach the site, where he immediately found a link to illegal copies of the Hollywood movie “The Revenant.”
