There are few things less enjoyable than being stuck at a traffic light in the hot summer heat of an August day in Moscow. Yesterday, motorists at the intersection of Cherepovets street and Altufievskoe highway discovered one of those less enjoyable things, when a sewage truck's tank exploded without warning, while stopped at a traffic light.
The contents of the sewage tank splattered cars nearby, spilling onto the street. Some sewage even found its way into the inside of nearby cars through open windows.
It's still unknown why the sewage tank malfunctioned.
