Some jerks painted Stalin's face over Yekaterinburg's giant ‘Pokéball’

Vandals have defaced one of Yekaterinburg's two famous “Pokéballs”—the giant granite spheres recently painted by the local artist “Roma Link” in an homage to the popular video game Pokémon Go. The vandals (or vandal) spray-painted Joseph Stalin's face onto the sphere and apparently tried to change the Pokéball into a giant eyeball.
City officials previously said they would leave the “Pokéballs” in place until Yekaterinburg's City Day celebration on August 18.
