Voting interrupted inside Ukraine's parliament because somebody started flying a drone around indoors

A vote in the Ukrainian parliament was interrupted today when Igor Lutsenko, a deputy from the Batkivschina (All-Ukrainian Union "Fatherland") political party, launched a drone inside the Verkhovna Rada. The Rada was considering new regulations on public utilities and the energy sector.

According to a deputy from President Petro Poroshenko's bloc, the drone was there to “monitor” the work of lawmakers. Maxim Burak, a deputy from a rival bloc, argued that the drone was launched solely to interrupt the Rada's vote. Andriy Parubiy, the Rada's chairman, agreed with Burak.
