Moscow police are searching for a man who reported to authorities the loss of his cat. His call to emergency workers likely would have gone unnoticed, were it not for the fact that he also warned that he'd strapped a bomb to his pet. After attaching the explosives to the animal, it allegedly ran off in an unknown direction. The man did not identify himself during the phone call.
The last reported sighting of the kitty was near the 1905 Street Moscow metro station. Police were able to contact the pet's owner, who says he still doesn't know there whereabouts of his bomb-carrying cat.
According to the news agency LifeNews, experts believe the caller is either pranking law enforcement, or he perhaps suffers from a mental disorder. Either way, the police are obligated to investigate the potential threat.
