Located about 1,000 miles east of Moscow, the city of Berezniki finds itself at the center of a peculiar scandal this week involving a bus stop and "gay propaganda."

Local conservative activists in Berezniki recently noticed artwork decorating a bus stop in the city's center that they argue violates Russia's ban on so-called gay propaganda and promotes other "immoral" behaviors. The group says it plans to submit a formal complaint to the city's government and police, demanding that the artwork be modified or removed.

The concerned citizens say the mosaic (illustrated in pixels) celebrates several kinds of supposedly dangerous social behaviors, including gay pride parades, nudists sunbathing, robots holding a protest, children playing at dangerous heights, and other naughty offenses. The activists say the bus stop's artwork presents a threat to minors.

According to the website V-kurse.ru, the artwork that now decorates the bus stop in Berezniki has been in place for roughly three years already, meaning it has been there since before Russia ever enacted its ban on "gay propaganda."
