The city of Chita, the administrative center of Russia’s Zabaykalsky Krai, has been having a rough spring. Wildfires have devastated the region, spreading across roughly 121,100 hectares (almost 300,000 acres), killing at least 30 people and injuring another 500. More than 1,300 homes have been destroyed and an estimated 5,000 people have been left without a roof over their heads.

Last week, Chita also experienced some very strong winds, and one gust (thought to be 54-miles-per-hour) even tore the roof off a two-story building. Ubiquitous in Russia, a dashcam of course captured the spectacle on video. According to a local news website, no people or automobiles were harmed in the incident.
