Moscow has started limiting incoming traffic. According to the BBC’s Russian-language service, police officers are now under orders to stop drivers entering the city and ascertain why these individuals violated the capital’s self-isolation requirements. Officers have also reportedly been instructed to collect drivers’ personal data and share it with local police departments and federal health regulators. Additionally, the authorities are turning away some vehicles, which has led to confusion at busy entrances into Moscow, including major slowdowns on the Leningradskoye Highway on Sunday evening, April 12.
