Russian drone strike on Ukrainian park kills six, including two children
Russian forces used a drone to strike the central park in Nova Vodolaha, a town in Ukraine’s Kharkiv region, said Ivan Vyhivskyi, head of Ukraine’s Interior Ministry.
Six people were killed: a man, three women, and two girls. One girl was 11, and the other was just over a year old, said Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv regional military administration.
Another 15 people were wounded, including seven children, he said.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said the younger girl was named Angelina. Her mother, Inna, also died. Zelensky said a Shahed drone struck the park.
