Putin places assets of several more foreign companies, including flooring manufacturer Tarkett, under temporary management
President Vladimir Putin has placed the Russian assets of several European companies, including French flooring manufacturer Tarkett, under temporary management, naming Tsentr Kapital as the managing company.
Tarkett is one of the world’s largest flooring manufacturers, with two plants in Russia, in the Moscow and Samara regions.
Putin also placed under temporary management shares and stakes in the charter capital of Kappa Rus, Mensen Packaging CIS, and Eviosis Packaging Kuban, which produce containers and packaging, as well as Ontex Ru, a manufacturer of personal hygiene products.
In September, Putin placed the Russian assets of retailers Globus, Metro Cash & Carry, Auchan, and Leroy Merlin under temporary management. He also introduced temporary management at Nestlé Russia.
