Russian drone attack on Kyiv damages apartment building, killing two

Russian drones attacked Kyiv late in the evening on October 7, local authorities reported. One of the drones hit a 12-story apartment building, Ukraine’s State Emergency Service said.

The attack sparked a fire on the 10th floor that spread to the upper floors, partially damaging the building’s structure.

Two people were killed in the attack, and their bodies were found in one of the damaged apartments. Four more people, including two children, were injured. Twenty-two people were evacuated from the building.
