The Investigative Committee, Russia’s criminal investigation agency, has ordered the criminal case against Lida Moniava, founder of the Dom s Mayakom hospice, transferred to its headquarters, lawyer Mikhail Biryukov wrote on Facebook, citing the investigator.
Biryukov said the case was originally due to be sent to court on September 30.
“We can only guess at the reasons for this decision and its consequences. But, as we did over the weekend, we’re continuing to prepare for court together,” the lawyer said.
