Russian forces continued to strike Kyiv with drones and various types of missiles. An attack early on September 30 killed two people and injured four in Kyiv, the city administration said.

Russian strikes caused fires in the Sviatoshynskyi, Holosiivskyi, Podilskyi, and Solomianskyi districts, according to Ukraine’s State Emergency Service.

A Russian strike killed a child in the Kyiv region. Rescuers found the child’s body while clearing rubble from a private home. Three people — a woman, a man, and a child — were injured.

In all, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 188 drones of various types, as well as anti-ship and ballistic missiles, according to the Ukrainian Air Force command.
