A Russian strike overnight on September 28 destroyed a section of an apartment building in Kharkiv’s Saltivskyi district. Twenty-five people, including nine children, were injured, according to Kharkiv Governor Oleh Syniehubov. Ukraine’s State Emergency Service said the strike destroyed apartments on the nine-story building’s lower floors.

Russian forces also struck Kyiv and Odesa overnight on September 28. Four people were injured in Kyiv, and preliminary figures from Ukraine’s State Emergency Service showed two people were injured in Odesa.
