Rapper GeeGun reportedly opened fire on staff at his Moscow home several months ago. He denies it.

The Telegram channels Mash and Shot, as well as Ksenia Sobchak, said rapper GeeGun (real name Denis Ustimenko) opened fire on staff at his home in the Moscow region in the early hours of July 4.

According to Shot, the rapper fired from “an air gun resembling a “Saiga-9” [a rifled carbine].”

Mash writes that the rapper “called the staff into the living room and took the law into his own hands.” He accused one guard of pedophilia and shot him, wounding him in the arm and leg. He accused the rest of the staff of “betrayal, leaking information, nationalism, and other things.” According to the Telegram channel, GeeGun “held the household staff and guards hostage for about 10 hours” in front of his children.

Ksenia Sobchak writes that the children of GeeGun and his ex-wife, Oksana Samoilova, “were saying goodbye to her [their mother] and thought their father would shoot them along with the staff” (Samoilova was abroad at the time; her eldest daughter called her). Police, the gated community’s security, and GeeGun’s friends were called to the property. About 10 hours later, after the rapper “was subdued,” he was sent to rehab in Israel for several months.
