A Russian drone strike on a passenger bus in Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk region killed five people and injured seven others, Governor Oleksandr Hanzha said.

The bus was hit in the Nikopol district, an area that comes under regular shelling. Hanzha did not offer further details about the incident.

Russian and Ukrainian authorities regularly accuse each other of strikes on passenger buses in regions near the front line.
