Ukrainian drones struck Perm on the morning of September 7, with one of them hitting a multistory apartment building. The Ukrainian monitoring Telegram channels Exilenova+ and Supernova+ published witness video of the attack.

Perm Governor Dmitry Makhonin confirmed the attack, saying it killed one person and wounded at least four others.

The Supernova+ channel claimed the strike also hit Lukoil-Permnefteorgsintez, one of the country’s largest oil refineries, though the claim has not been officially confirmed.

Ukrainian drones have struck the refinery several times before, the last time on August 21, an attack Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, among others, confirmed.

The Defense Ministry reported that 306 Ukrainian drones were shot down overnight in total. Authorities also declared a drone danger alert in Bashkortostan, Udmurtia, and Tatarstan, while in Chuvashia a cell tower was damaged, Governor Oleg Nikolaev said.
