Fire hits drone-parts plant of Polish firm arming Ukraine. Arson not ruled out.
A fire broke out overnight at a drone-component plant in Skarżysko-Kamienna, south-central Poland.
The blaze started in the assembly shop while the building was closed and empty, and firefighters brought it under control in under two hours.
The plant belongs to WB Electronics, Poland’s largest private arms manufacturer, which also produces reconnaissance and kamikaze drones used by Ukraine’s military.
Police and the Internal Security Agency said the cause was still under investigation and that they had not ruled out arson, while a spokesman for the government’s special services coordinator warned against unverified claims about the cause of the blaze.
