Yulia Navalnaya, the widow of Alexei Navalny and head of the Anti-Corruption Foundation he founded, released a video address after Russia’s Supreme Court removed Yabloko from the State Duma race — a party she had urged Russians to support.

Rodina petitioned Russia’s Supreme Court to remove Yabloko from the race, arguing in its lawsuit that Yabloko had violated copyright and used “extremist” slogans in its campaign materials. On August 10, the Supreme Court sided with Rodina and disqualified Yabloko from the election. Yabloko will appeal the ruling.
