Russian missile strike destroys largest warehouse of Ukrainian marketplace Rozetka
A Russian missile strike in the Kyiv region destroyed the largest warehouse belonging to Ukrainian online marketplace Rozetka, according to the company’s co-founder, Iryna Chechetkina.
“Today I was supposed to publish a post about Rozetka turning 21 years old. […] Instead, last night I watched the work of my whole life burn after a strike by three ballistic missiles,” she wrote on Facebook.
The distribution warehouse complex in Brovary opened in early 2017, Chechetkina said. “It was the largest, most automated one. Our pride. We processed more than 100,000 orders a day there. It cannot be restored,” she added.
No one was injured in the strike on the warehouse.
This marks the third attack on the Rozetka warehouse in the Brovary district in just a few days. The company reported Sunday, August 2, that Russian drones had already struck the warehouse twice in the preceding 24 hours. “This is definitely not a coincidence, but a deliberate, targeted strike,” the company said.
