Ukraine hits two more Wildberries warehouses in Russia

A fire broke out at a Wildberries marketplace logistics facility in Volgograd following a Ukrainian drone attack, the company said. No employees were injured, according to preliminary reports.

Volgograd Governor Andrey Bocharov said five people were injured in the Ukrainian drone attack on the city and surrounding region. An apartment building and a private home sustained damage in Volgograd, and fires broke out at a fuel and energy facility in the city’s south, as well as at several warehouses. Bocharov did not say who owns them.

The independent Telegram channel Astra, citing photos and videos from witnesses, reported that the Ukrainian strike may have hit an oil refinery in Volgograd, Lukoil-Volgogradneftepererabotka.

Astra also reported that Ukrainian drones struck another Wildberries warehouse in Zelenodolsk, Tatarstan, a claim Ukrainian monitoring Telegram channels repeated (1,2). Witness video shows smoke rising near the warehouse. Wildberries said the Zelenodolsk warehouse is “operating normally,” but did not say whether it had come under attack.

Ukrainian channels also shared video of a drone explosion near a warehouse belonging to the Ozon marketplace, purportedly filmed in Zelenodolsk. The outlet 116.ru reported that the Wildberries and Ozon logistics complexes in Zelenodolsk sit on the same industrial site.

Ozon said it evacuated employees from the Zelenodolsk warehouse during an air raid alert but that they have since returned to work, adding that the warehouse and the goods stored there were not damaged.

Zelenodolsk Mayor Mikhail Afanasyev said air defenses repelled drone attacks on the logistics center but did not specify which warehouse was targeted.

Wildberries is Russia’s largest marketplace. Ukraine has struck the company’s logistics centers almost daily since mid-July, claiming they store drone components and other dual-use goods. The attacks have damaged more than 10 Wildberries warehouses.
