Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that restoring Crimea to Kyiv’s control is not currently part of the peace negotiations, but suggested that could change.

Asked in an interview with Fox News, “Is Crimea back on the table?” Zelensky replied:

Not yet. But we’ll see.

Zelensky made those remarks after meetings in Washington with U.S. President Donald Trump and senators. U.S. media reported that during the trip, he appeared to persuade Washington that Ukraine could still win the war.
