A Su-57 fighter jet went down near Zvenigorod, in the Moscow region, the Russian Telegram news channel Ostorozhno Novosti reported, along with Telegram channels with ties to security officials, “112” and Mash.

Witnesses said the jet came down between Zvenigorod’s Shikhovo neighborhood and the village of Lutsino, and preliminary reports said the pilots managed to eject.

Russia’s Defense Ministry has not commented on the crash.
