Death toll from Russian strike on Kyiv rises to 30
Rescuers in Kyiv pulled three more bodies from the rubble of a residential building destroyed in a Russian strike on July 2, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported, bringing the death toll to 30.
Russia launched a large-scale strike on Kyiv with missiles and drones in the early hours of July 2. Damage was recorded in all districts of the Ukrainian capital. In particular, a nine-story apartment building was destroyed in the Desnianskyi district, and five-story and nine-story residential buildings were partially destroyed in the Darnytsky district. According to Ukrainian Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko, more than 20 residential buildings were damaged as a result of the Russian attack.
