Drone strikes residential building in Russia’s Belgorod, injuring nine

A Ukrainian Armed Forces drone struck a multi-story residential building in Russia’s Belgorod region, the local emergency operations center reported on Friday. The Telegram channel Pepel (Ashes) identified the building as being on Vokzalnaya Street.

The strike ignited several balconies and damaged the building’s facade and windows.

A three-year-old girl sustained shrapnel wounds to her shoulder, chest, and leg and was taken to the hospital. Two women and a man also suffered shrapnel wounds and were hospitalized. The operations center later reported that the total number of injured was nine.
