A man was carried unconscious out of the Moscow newsroom of Novaya Gazeta today as masked law enforcement officers conducted searches there, RTVI and the Russian Telegram news channel Ostorozhno Novosti reported.

Video footage showed doctors and masked officers carrying a man in a suit out of the building on an improvised stretcher, placing him on a gurney and loading it into an ambulance.

The man was a law enforcement officer who felt chest pain during the search operation at the newsroom, the Russian Telegram news channel Ostorozhno Novosti reported.

Novaya Gazeta confirmed that the hospitalized man was not a member of its staff.
