Russian forces launched a ballistic missile strike on a civilian infrastructure facility in the Ukrainian city of Dnipro, according to Serhiy Lysak, head of the regional military administration.

The strike ignited a large fire at the scene. A 42-year-old man was killed, and eight others were wounded, Lysak reported. Five of the injured were hospitalized, including one in critical condition.

Dnipro Mayor Borys Filatov said the missile struck a warehouse used to store items like diapers and sanitary wipes. “No ‘NATO officers.’ No ‘mercenaries.’ I spoke personally with the owner,” Filatov wrote on Telegram. “This is terrorism. Pure, undisguised terrorism. They’re just blatantly launching ballistic missiles at diapers and playgrounds.”

According to Forbes Ukraine, the facility belongs to the Biosphere Corporation, which produces household and hygiene products. The company’s owner, Andriy Zdesenko, confirmed the strike to reporters.
